Why learn Purely You?

Why is it so important to learn who Purely You is? Why does it even matter? You’re getting by just fine in this life, right? Sure, you may be tired, overwhelmed, and exhausted. You might snap at your kids or your partner once in a while. You might show up to work and give less than your best. But it’s no big deal, everyone does it, right? This is what we call, “adulting.” This is why they say it’s hard.
I’m about to tell you something that you may have never heard before.
Your life doesn’t have to look that way. You don’t have to be overwhelmed and exhausted. You don’t have to be short-tempered and snappy. You don’t have to be mediocre. You just have to learn how to care for yourself and become the best version of yourself that you can be. It starts with setting new boundaries, self-discovery, and a few (or a lot) of changes in your daily routines. It’s not an easy transition, especially if you’ve been living this burnt-out life for a while. But I know something special about you: you can do hard things.
Purely You isn’t the smile you paint on your face when you show up to dinner with your in-laws. It’s not the person that snaps at the kids when you’ve had a long day at work. It’s not the person that bails on coffee with a friend. I know that is not the kind of spouse, parent, or friend that you are at your core. It’s just all you have left to give today. It’s the best you can do when you’re running on empty. Frankly, it’s the best you can do when you are so far disconnected from your body, mind, and soul that you don’t know how to do better right now. You can learn, but you have to learn.

Are you ready to find Purely You? Are you ready to figure out how to reconnect to your body so you can understand the signals it is sending you? So, you can make plans that are in accordance with your normal rhythms, instead of making plans and then dreading them. Are you ready to be able to take the high road when there’s a disagreement? Are you ready to feel good about how you handled your day when you settle in for the night?

Of course, you are!
Keep in mind, when you’re on your journey to becoming your purest self, there are a lot of layers to work through. Some habits will have to be adjusted. But most importantly, you have to decide it is time. It is time to step back into the person you used to be. Before life got in the way. Before stress became your normal mode of operation, instead of something you experienced once in a while. Before you forgot to take care of yourself too. With baby steps, you can rediscover your purest self. You can become the best version of yourself.

The trick to this is not one particular morning routine. It’s not a pill, special coffee, or essential oil. Becoming Purely You is about finding out which combination of activities, supplements, nutrition, and practitioners is right for you. Your individual formula. Because YOU are unique. You are different than any other person on this planet and no one can tell you exactly what you need. You can decide that for yourself though. With a little bit of work, some time, and a desire to always be working towards your best self, you can certainly Become Purely You.
